Ned is an advocate in the dispute resolution and litigation team. He has broad experience in all general litigation matters, primarily in the financial services sector and in corporate and commercial litigation.

Ned regularly appears at the High Court and the Court of Appeal representing our clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial disputes, primarily focusing on complex commercial litigation, contractual claims, banking and finance disputes, fraud and asset tracing, company disputes and trust and Intellectual Property litigation. His other areas of experience include Arbitration, employment matters and Insolvency.

  1. Successfully representing a client against thousands of squatters into a 87 acreage private land
  2. Advising a client regarding investments made in Brite Advisors Pty Ltd (in liquidation) in Australia and in relation to the Receiver Managers (RMs).
  3. Currently acting for a client in an appeal challenging a High Court decision that set aside a USD 1.3 million compensation award and seeking to lift a Mareva injunction over a USD 4.5 million property.
  4. Successfully representing Smart Applications Limited in a multi-million employment claim;
  5. Currently representing a client in succession involving an Estate valued at KES 5 Billion.
  6. Currently acting for African Camp Solutions in a dispute with Kapese Community over a complex land use rights pertaining to unregistered community land involving USD 4 Million contract with Tullow Kenya BV.
  7. Currently representing an air operator service provider for passenger, cargo, freight & medical evacuation solutions, in a dispute involving ownership of an aircraft.
  8. Successfully acting for a Charitable Trust founded in 1940 to prepare a Trust Deed and have it recognized in the High Court.
  9. Successfully representing clients in land ownership disputes and fraudulent land dealings.
  10. Currently representing a client in high-stakes multimillion gold fraud scheme. Successfully representing Co-operative Bank and DIB Bank Kenya;

Ned joined LJA Associates in May 2022 for his pupillage programme. He successfully passed the bar and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 6th June 2023, upon which he joined the Litigation department. He is an Associate Arbitrator at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
